About Clock Repair Houston

Rick Carey, owner of Clock Repair Houston is experienced in all types of clock repair, with over 26 years of experience as a watch and clockmaker.

After graduating from watchmaking school in 1989 he opened Village Timekeepers, in the Rice Village. Operating there until September 1997 when the shop was moved to 12749 Market street in east Houston, where our focus is on clock and antique watch repair.
The emphasis on antique watches and not modern watches has come about because of the Swiss watch companies spare parts restrictions.  You can find more about the restrictions under Services.

The training and experience in watch repair has been an invaluable asset in his ability to diagnose and repair the more complicated clocks such as: Ship Chronometers, Ship Bells, Deck Clocks, Aircraft and Carriage Clocks.
